Meet The Team
Valerie, Office Administrator
With almost three decades in office administration, Valerie brings our practice the skills and organization we need to serve our patients well in the front office.
She holds membership in the Indiana Dental Association and pursues continuing education regularly.
Valerie has a passion for educating patients about how to optimize their dental health, then partnering with them to achieve the best results. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé Dave, and his daughters Kennedy and Alex.
Away from the office, she likes working out, playing golf, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Tracie, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Tracie trained as a dental assistant with the Red Cross in Jacksonville, Florida. She earned her expanded duties certification at IUPUI. Dr. Princell has worked with Tracie for 14 years.
Away from the office, Tracie enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, swimming, and time with her family. She and her husband of 17 years have three children, Tyler, Bailey, and Madison.
Karen, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Karen attended the dental assisting program at Indiana College of Business & Technology, and she has been a dental assistant for 30 years.
She appreciates the pride that Dr. Princell and our team take in their work, both clinically and in building personal relationships with our patients.
This high standard of care has been her goal in her 17 years with our Indianapolis office. Karen's nights and weekends are spent with her husband of 30 years. She enjoys gardening, boating, water skiing, and spending lots of quality time with her four children and two grandchildren!
Julie, Administrative Assistant
Julie has always been interested in medicine. She attended nursing classes at Ivy Tech and has worked in dentistry since 2003. Getting to know our patients, working with our talented team, and building beautiful, healthy smiles are fulfilling aspects of her job.
Julie has a boyfriend and an English bulldog named Jasmine. She enjoys time outdoors, camping, relaxing in the sun, and spending time with her nephew, Jullian.
Dareth, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Dareth earned her Expanded Duties certification from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. She brings 12 years of valuable experience to our practice and has a passion for oral health and patient satisfaction. Dareth enjoys working in an environment where team members and clients are treated like members of the family. She truly loves developing lasting relationships with patients and watching their eyes sparkle after she has helped to give them the smile of their dreams.
Dareth has three children (Drew, Daylen and Dawson) and a Scottie named Lexi. She spends time with her boyfriend Sam, she enjoys running, cycling, attending her children’s sporting events and going on vacation.
Suzy, Practicing Dental Hygiene
Suzy earned her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Marquette University and has practiced dental hygienist in Wisconsin, Texas, and Indiana for 25 years, though she has been in the dental field for 30 years.
Suzy loves working at Dr. Princell’s and is proud to call it her dental home. She finds working in an environment where patients and team members are treated like family very rewarding. Suzy also enjoy our state-of-the-art technology and strives to learn something new each day.
Suzy is committed to providing a caring, educational, and positive experience to each of our patients. Dr. Princell shares her passion for preventive care and education, the keys to optimal dental health.
Suzy and her high-school sweetheart, Mike, have been married for 24 years and have a son Mike who will be attending IU this fall. In her spare time, Suzy enjoys golf, audio books, and Caribbean cruises with her family.
Carrie, Dental Hygienist
Carrie has been enjoying helping patients smile since 2000. She received her associate’s degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and completed hygiene school with a 4.0 GPA. Carrie loves working for a practice that provides state-of-the-art care and that continually strives for excellence in all phases of dentistry. Her favorite aspects of her career include maintaining our patients’ optimal oral health and getting to know them on a personal level.
While away from the office, Carrie relishes time spent with her family (husband- Terry, son- T.J., and daughter- Lexi) on their five acre farm in Anderson. Carrie also dabbles in photography and arts and crafts.
Jane, Dental Hygienist
Jane earned her associate’s degree in dental hygiene and began her career as a hygienist in 1978. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Jane appreciates the strong bonds she forges with patients and values being part of our positive, enthusiastic staff.
The mother of two grown children, Jane likes to read, cook, bake, garden, walk, and spend time with her family and friends. She loves to learn new things and travel to new places.
